4/2  - School was amusing today

Well we had school photos today, which caught me off guard as we usually don't do school photos until semester two, I'm not sure why they changed the time so drastically but I don't really mind, I usually put very little effort into looking good for school photos anyway and my hair is at just the length I like it.

I had my second physics lesson today and the teacher introduced the class to the quantum model of the atom, on it's own the lesson was interesting but what made it so amusing was that every now and again Will and I turned around to see the confused faces of the rest of the class, the uniform look was priceless.

The last three periods were occupied by sport, it was the first lesson of the year so everyone had to try out for the sport they wanted to get into. Will and I put ourselves down for volley ball  with no intentions of actually making the team, we both planned to get into skills group (which for the non-HT informed upon you, is a group for those who don't get accepted into any teams and go do less intensive activities during the sport periods). We were shocked when we both made the team, I don't really mind being on the team it is not like I yearned to be in the skills group it's just that it came as a surprise to me, ah well a least I'll get some much needed exercise.

I just bought my hiking boots a couple of hours ago, they fit a charm and are possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn (but they did not come without their handsome fee :S). Tomorrow year 11s go on the broken hill preparation walk, the last preparation walk we went on was 10-15 kilometers and this one is suppose to be longer so I am not exactly looking forward to it. The walks on the actual camp will be that length except though the desert under the scorching sun  carrying 17 kilo bags, even thoughts of it strike my heart of fear, I cannot imagine how I will feel during the walk... Ok so I'm exaggerating, all the teachers say that it will be an enjoyable experience and the highlight of our school years but from their opinions of previous camps I am brought to seriously question their judgment on this matter. However I'll still at the very least try to enjoy it, at least we get a week off school :P.

3/2  - Back to school

Well I just started year 11 on Monday, it's been quite easy so far and despite getting mountains of homework effective use of free periods can mean that I actually have no school work to do at home. Plus I've dropped every subject that I didn't enjoy and now I do more of subjects I do enjoy, my cousin has also started year 7 at Huntingtower which is cool (even though I don't see him much) so school is proving to be even more tolerable than last year, perhaps even... fun...? Mean while everyone is preparing for the broken hill camp in week four, it is suppose to be much tougher than any of the previous camps (how could they possibly get much tougher), ah well hopefully Sam and I will have carried though our plan to hospitalize each other by then.

Simpsons quotes of the day
Lisa (as Ophelia) "Oh no Hamlet is talking all crazy! No one can out craze Ophelia"
Chief Wiggum (as Polonius) "I hide behind curtains because I have a fear of being stabbed" Hahaha I laughed my head off at that one!

21/1  - Pat's Site

That's right Pat has established a web presence, hopefully he will sustain it and not just get bored and abandon his site like Rick or Jack or even worse get terrorized into abandoning it like Will :P. http://empyre.no-ip.com/empyre there isn't much to see right now but I'll check in every so often to see what his doing and post here when he does some significant updates. Aww speaking of Will, I so miss his wacky antics, and crazy schemes, he has been away all holidays and I haven't heard from him since school, oh well soon we'll all be back home in the Shire *touching music starts*, Howard Shore did an exceptional job on the Lord of the Rings Score, even better than recent works Williams and Horner.

20/1 - Shout Out Box

Daniel called this morning and said he could come to my lan which is cool, not much else happened today though, I played some Warcraft online this afternoon, won one game lost two :(, after that I went to my grandmother's house for dinner to celebrate the coming (or past I honestly don't know when) Chinese New Year. The coming Lan should be a fun way to finish off the holidays, my parents just bough 4 boxes of Pepsi for the occasion but they refused to let me pay for it, I'm not really sure what to do with my money, I'm not really the type of person to invest in petty purchases.

Today I awoke to the fact school will recommence shortly, I'm am not sure how I feel about going back again, partly I am afraid as I am doing VCE 3/4 this year and I'm not sure if I'm ready, but I also miss my friends and the school routine. But again VCE has caught me off guard, I've chosen my subjects but still have no idea what I want to do. Ideas I have had for future careers vary from the mathematics/science area all the way to the Arts (Graphics design seems to be a good mix of the two though). I dream of being a composer or professional musician for I cannot describe my love for the arts. But thinking practically, there aren't that many composing jobs available and the the competition in that area is extremely tough. I cannot even say that I am the best musician in my class, and my class is one of around 24 in my small school, my school one of thousands in my state my state one of seven in a country of 20 million people which is still considered a relatively small population well you see what I'm saying. Even if my skill were multiplied by 10 I could still not even fathom to be within the same league as the people professional musicians look down upon (Well maybe not that extreme). Ah well enough of my ramblings, few of you take interest in them anyway, or do you? Thanks for two thousand hits, perhaps not as much as other sites but enough to make me content, at least all this typing is not  going to waste completely.

On another note I've added a shout out box under the links, leave a suggestion, comment or say anything else you may want to say... as long as it is clean and won't offend anyone, and please don't spam it, I can delete the spam but why make me go to the trouble?.

14/1 - Happy Birthday to me

Lol, you would expect that I would have a lot more time to update this site on the holidays, but there have been quite a lot of things distracting me lately.

First of all Happy New Year (for two weeks ago), on new year eve I went to a party with many of my friends not much happened except we found out that Tom's afro becomes a mullet when wet. Later that week max hosted a lan, we played a lot of Warcraft I lost a solo match against Matt (O shame of Shames), but I guess that is what you get for boasting about the excellence of the strategy you are going to use right before the match.

And now to more recent events, last Monday January the 12th was my birthday I've just turned 16 so you can all wish my a happy birthday. I've not had a party yet, I spent most of my birthday day learning a piano arrangement of Bach's Toccata and Fugue is D Minor, one of my favourite Baroque pieces. But I don't intend for this occasion to go uncelebrated, I had planned a party for this weekend but later found out that my parents we taking me to Sorrento then and so the party has been moved to either 19th-20th 20th-21st or 24th-25th. Don't worry about taking down these dates I'll be calling you when I've confirmed the date, I'll try to find a time when most people are free but unfortunately often I cannot find a time that satisfies everyone. Oh and one more thing about the party, if anyone know where Will and Setha are could they contact me (email or msn), I've heard from neither for months at they were not at Max's lan or the new year's eve party.

Now an actual announcement about the site rather than my personal life. Those of you who know me will know that I am the guy with the digital camera at all the parties and events, many of you take my photo archive from my computer at every lan I am at. But for those of you who don't go to our lans I am pleased to announce that I am considering posting up a lot of the photos on a new section on this site. My host only allows 60 megs so unfortunately I can't host them all (I've got hundreds).

25/12 - Merry Christmas

(Every other active site in the world today will be saying the same thing) I would like to say a Merry Christmas to everyone who believes in this day as well as the ones who don't but will not take offence to it :P, also all the best for the new year. I'm off to dinner soon so I'll just quickly say I hope everyone has a great day. Download some Warcraft Christmas wallpapers here.

12/12 - Much News

Oh my it has been a while since I've updated (sorry to the people who have been checking) but that can be blamed on two things, my laziness and Warcraft. The school year ended a week back and in a haste to find something to keep me entertained I started playing Warcraft, living Warcraft. I spent hours studying my opponents in replays as well as the worlds best players as a result I am the only person at the LANs I go to that can beat a normal computer on 100% health (I have replays to prove it), for those of you who beat me at Andrews LAN last week do not underestimate ho much some one can improve in one week when they have all the time in the world on their hands.

In other news Matt challenged me to beat at a Chopin piece he is learning for VCE, it is his famous Op.64 Waltz... No not number one the minute, number two in C# minor. It'll be interesting to see how we go as I am exceptional at Chopin and Matt is a very accomplished player. I've also enter competition with a few other people in the area of visual art, yeah you guessed it another of Will's competitions. We are to draw a mythical creature and import it to Photoshop and electronically add to it, I am drawing either a winged albino puma or a Night-Elf (one of the races in Warcraft 3).

I've added a new Signature to the art section, this one I made for Edoras Forums (Check Links Page if your don't know what I'm talking about). It's a Night-Elf Sig, yep it's confirmed, I've become a Warcraft fanatic.

19/11 - New Layout

As anyone with even half the vision of Will without glasses would have noticed, I just applied the fist new layout for over five months. I've created many since then but until now none of them were good enough to replace the last one. I absolutely love and am very proud of this one. The raven picture I got from the net, most everything else is my own work, I photographed my piano, scanned in some music for the overlay excreta. The poem on the left and the "nevermore" are extracts from one of my favourite poems of all time, Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven", if you want to say "Hey that's the poem from the Simpsons", you jolly well deserve a punch in the face, me and Will have had enough of everyone telling us that the Simpsons wrote "The Raven". Ah well, send comments of praise or not to admin@zx5.imess.net.

19/11 - Today was a good day

Aside from having to have the power supply of my new Pentium 4 replaced due to a power surge today was a good day. I had my last three exams today which went very well. The Math paper was probably the hardest of all exams this time around but I think I got through it ok, I'm expecting 85-90%. The Visual Communication Paper was fun and included a stamp design we had to do, which turned out to be the pest pencil to paper design I have ever done under exam conditions. The Music Exam, despite adding to the pain of mine agonizing risk which has been slaving away all week was excellent, I completed the Aural section which included rhythmic and melodic dictation perfectly without a doubt, the theory section was probably also perfect and the history of music I wrote also near perfectly, so I'm expecting 96-100%. Overall my average may vary from 80-90%, It depends on how much English and IT. pull me down, I should have done a lot better in IT but the science exam was on the same day and I felt I need to study more for it.

I have no exams tomorrow so they've ended for me, next week is work experience the the last week of school bares may events. Firstly I'll get my exam results back so my stressing will end... hopefully, also there is the Christmas giving assembly, the annual school formal, speech night, year ten Lygon Street trip and of course Andrews mega huge ubre LAN. So year still many fun thing until the holidays, oh yeah and this Friday is Andrews end of exams celebration LAN, only a few people are going to this one, more specifically people with 2.6ghz+ or equivalent computers because we are testing out new top of the range games.

Also wanted to mention the news section is filling up again, I have to find a more effective way of managing post as I am posting more and more. I may also have a passworded news section because there have been many things I have wanted to mention but didn't because I they were the types of things I only want people close to me to read. So expect many updates because I'll have a lot of spare time on my hands.

17/11 - Quoth the Raven "Nevermore"

Argh shouldn't really be adding to site, I'm right in the middle of Exam Week History and English Exams today went really well and I'm hoping that IT. and Science test tomorrow will go just as well. IT. and Science are a couple of my best subjects so I won't have to study much for them. I am however worried about Wednesday's Math Exam, however good I consider myself at math it's going to be a hard Exam. I also have a Visual Communication Exam and  Music Exam on Wednesday and I'm fine with both of them, this time around I think I can do what I have not managed any other year and that is break the 90% average in Exams. Next year I should do even better because I've dropped History and Visual Communication leaving only my best subjects, Math Methods, Physics, Chemistry, IT, and Music plus English which I cannot drop but seem to be improving in.

Next week in work experience week and I am working at the Chemist, I have no idea what It'll be like as I have never had a real job in my life hehe. If it turns out good I'll get a job during the summer holidays so I can buy myself a Radeon 9800 which brings me to some other big News. Last Saturday my New computer arrived, my dad decided that it would ultimately be cheaper to get a top of the range computer than to have to upgrade all the time. So here are new statistics.

For the computer illiterate among you that is a very good computer, the processor is More powerful that Pat's and DC's, for long they have dominated everyone computers at LANs with their Pentium 4 3.06 533MHZ FBSs but now I have the most powerful computer muhahahaha. I played Halo against my old p3 Excellent! Here's a picture for you people to drool over.

The mouse is a wireless optical and the one behind it is a backup for when it runs out of batteries. The wire to the right of the case connects my computer to my calculator. The CDRW clashes with the colour scheme and ruins the look but I'm going to buy a black face plate for it tomorrow so that's cool.

11/11 - School fair was cool

Last Saturday I went to Huntingtower's annual school fair, I showed up very early and picked up some awesome bargains at the second hand stall. On the smaller end of the scale I got a new wallet and chess set for 50c each but am more ecstatic about the fact that I managed to purchase a set of computer Fantasy brand stereos with sub woofer altogether capable of producing sound at any pitch of human hearing for $5, the quality of the sound is nothing compared to my Olympic Speakers but they set me back a couple of hundred. But that wasn't it, I also managed to make another purchase I am even more happy with, A fully functional and very sleek looking Discman for $5 now I can listen to baroque as I am driven to school or trying to get to sleep. I didn't go on any ride this year, ahh they no longer entertain me as much.

Will and I helped out at the Year 10 CD store for an hour and we let people sample music on my Discman and speakers :D whilst enjoying a good game of Chess (Which I completely dominated may I add). He snuck out for a bit to go to the second hand junk store and returned with what he thought was an original page from the magna carter which he purchased for a dollar and a boot in a bird cage which he hung above the CD store and put all the Hanson CDs in, heh I leant long ago to stop degrading myself by trying to understand Will's actions :P. Ahh happy days.

After our shift at the CD store was over me and will went to the Glen to see The Matrix and asked Gabe if he wanted to go too but he had to go to the city with his friend, we went in with $21 worth of bubble tea, an Asian beverage will is completely obsessed with. After the movie was over and Will finished his bubble tea he expressed that he "had ever experienced so much cool in one place".

In other news Exams are next week :S. I've skimmed through my revision sheets and there is only a bit i have to revise and this year Exams go for only 3 days but still they are scary. right after Exams all year tens have a week of work experience and I am also privileged enough to have a piano exam wedged between the two. So I won't be upgrading the site much until this is over, at least I can look forward to the last week of school right after work experience, mostly just packing up, handing back of exams, school formal and speech night. Wish me luck guy and all the best to all of you.

Also I would like to mention this Sunday I'm picking up my new computer which is three time as my current one. Here are specifications.

It'll be ready for Andrew's end of school huge 20 person LAN which isn't fully planned yet but should be awesome.

5/11 - Pat LAN (lots of fun, lots to say)

Hah long weekend, looking at the date I realize that the year is almost over WOOT. Fist things first, there is a new pic on the wallpapers page called "life is wonderful? even though it really isn't wallpaper size, check it out. Pat's LAN was on Saturday to Sunday and was the single wackiest party I have ever been to. His house was tiny yet he invited 16 people, the day started out with a good dose of halo which was good fun as it it is a very unique game. Later when everyone arrived we watched "Big Trouble in Little China" an 80 film about a really angry spirit guy who goes around wrecking everyone's stuff for absolutely no reason. We had pizza and cake for dinner and played some more games.

Every now and again Will would go outside to throw his knife at Pat's tree, he later told me that he broke it at home throwing it at his fence so his parents made him pay for it and he decided as long as it was his he should make use of it. Beginning to get bored of the small thrills of make small slits in a three he decided to throw it at Pat's house, when Sam saw the knife sticking out of Pat's gutter he had the laugh of his life.

At about 1am we realized all the computers (and the room) were getting very hot so we decided to take a walk and let them cool down at which point Michael reveled he brought along small explosives that we could set off in the park. We all agreed on the idea (except Joel and Cameron) and so we left on out Wacky Escapade. The park was about half an hours walk away and so me and Will sung Choir song out loud to entertain ourselves. When we got there we tried for a while to light the explosives but it was too windy so we danced and sung some more while we kept trying. Later heather got sick so me and will said we would accompany her home, but when we where almost out of the park Max ran up to us and said that Matt wanted us to go back as he had spotted some figures in the bushes (later discovered to be Sam, Nick and Ryan who had arrived earlier) who he though were drug dealers and he wanted numbers so that we wouldn't get beaten up. We stayed a while longer and Will "comforted" everyone by telling they he had a knife in his pocket. A while later Will heather and I decide to leave anyway, on the way back heater was disorientated and almost got hit by a car, she was freaked out big a person following us but we realized it was Sam when we heard in a familiar tone the words "Greeeey Paatch" (Sam has an obsession of teasing Will's grey patch). For the entire walk back to Patt place Will was throwing his knife at anything he could find.

Back at Patt's place we started watching other movies and Matt and Michael decided to go back and "Play some games". I walked in and found them at Will's computer, they did a search for all video files and found about 50 porn movies Will came in upon hear our hysterical laughter when he found out he was furious in a humorous trademark Will kind of way. Matt left the room content with what he had done.

Then I searched Matt's computer for about 20mins looking in history of Kazaa, Internet explorer and Media Player. And searching for all files larger than 200 megs (zipped porn archives). Then I looked in his recent history manually and saw a shortcut to 6.mpg, I opened it and it said file not existent, Matt taking me for a novice smirked so I opened file properties and traced it to it's directory where I found files called 1.1 2.2... 6.6, I changed 6.6 to 6.mpeg and booya 100meg porn movie. At the same time Will located Michaels Stash and duplicated it three times, shared it across the network under folders with manes such as "Michaels Sexing" before placing shortcuts to every single file on the desktop.

When I tried to sleep Will booted my computer up in safe mode and created a new account so he could log on. I don't keep any porn but I knew but I knew will would do something like copy someone else's stash onto my desktop so I took away my power cable, when Will used Matt's power cable on my comp I decided to unplug it and sleep with it for then night, he tried countless times to take it but I could feel his footsteps every time.

The next day we hit each other with our sleeping bags until we almost passed out before going home, cheers Patt for the Wackiest LAN ever, more people should host them like you.

23/10 - Muck up day

The year 12's had their muck up day today, twas ok but I guess I've been spoiled by those of previous years. They drew a chalk pentagram outside the Foyer which was pretty funny. I found out my cousin also got 98% on his music theory test which is a high distinction, go us. and Tom "Fro" Barton got a 95% good going.

Oh and click here for the prologue to roadsnake the movie,. Episode one is also well on the way.

Listening - Charlotte Church sings The water is Wide
Just divine, haven't heard it? Your missing out.

16/10 - Some lighter news today

Heheh, remember yesterday when I said I had a headache. Today in PE in the morning it got a lot worse during the IT SAC I was sweating like a pig, I could taste my breakfast and was about to vomit, my nose was excreting odd liquids, I had gone red and my headache was killing me. I kept telling Will that the sick bay was for the weak until a teacher said I should go before I faint. Lol all better now, just though I should mention it.

Tomorrow's math test was called off so that should give me more time to do my English book report which I haven't started yet and also last nigh my Piano teacher called and said he finally got my theory exam results back (I sat it a couple of months ago), I got 98% which is pretty cool.

Formal ticket just came on sale today, $53 which is significantly more than previous years, tis at the Melbourne aquarium though so should be cool. Right now i still think that the year seven formal (Rembrandts) was the best, biggest venue and cheapest too. I go every year but I am starting to question why, it's just eating and dancing (which I do not do), I suppose there is some fun in talking to your friends over dinner and showing off your dad's $4000 Rado watch and Gucci Suite :P but last year Setha had to find entertainment in incinerating pieces of paper in a candle.

15/10 - I have a headache

Today was Chaotic, first the small stuff. I found out that the reason I wasn't aloud to go to jacks LAN was because his parents thought me Sam Setha and Doyle were too destructive!?!? Common, I'm an academic (got back two test today both 100%) with a perfect detention record, no after school detentions in my three and a half years at Huntingtower (or any other school may I add)  which only two or three year 10 males can say, Jack and *EVERYONE* else going to LAN not included. Matt was invited and he ripped every single hammer out of a school piano because he didn't like it when year 7s played it; I'm destructive? Also today will got kicked out of the student center and his food attempted to taken because he was in the house "Warrel", which he had no control over. Kind of reminds me of a certain dictatorship that took place last century, lol just kidding it was just funny that Will kept on bagging on about it all day.

Now to the bigger news, remember how I said in the last post that Will didn't want teachers to find out about his site? (for those of you who don't know Will had a section on the site where he displayed pictures that represented the "Cheapness" of Huntingtower and a "Bag On" section that had an article about how he didn't like Americans)  Well... they did and they saw the Huntingtower section and the "Bag On" section, he almost got expelled but was only told off, forced to take his site down and apologize to an American teacher at our school. I think this is totally over the top, partly because it was all done in good humor but mainly because Australia is a free country, my parents did not migrate here after the Communist took over Vietnam to be treated exactly the same way. Will was entitled to his opinion  and even though I didn't particularly agree with his views it's was unconstitutional to punish him for expressing them (he can't be made to apologize to everyone who didn't agree with him even though I do understand how offended a patriot would be to read something bad about their country). Posting the photos up without consent may have been a breach of privacy but going off at Will and threatening to expel him  for having them there was unfair (a simple non-threatening request would have been more appropriate), it would be like Will requesting that Huntingtower seek down every print out of the school magazines that his picture is in to be received and destroyed because non of the students in them ever gave consent to the school to feature them (which under their rulings is viable). That's is just "My Opinion", which even I was afraid to post up because of what happened to Will, I should not be afraid to express my feelings! Sigh... that is all. Some new Threads at Endoras about these issues link on links page.

11/10 - Misc

Hmm odd day, I got uninvited to jack LAN which is a bugger even though I wasn't even sure I would be aloud to go yet. Will finally returned raise of nations" a game he stole from me right after I bought it... bastard) which has turned out to be an awesome game, it's a real time strategy where you develop through stages of warfare from early cave men stone slingers to medieval knights to the mighty technological battles of the information age. I'm the best at early warfare with mounted swordsmen and archers before the guns come in because of my knowledge of medieval and siege warfare, attack formations, flanks and the sort (stuff I read that I thought would help me play chess better :P). Also progressing through Halo quite nicely, Sam finished it in a couple of days, he plays way too much.

In Piano news I just doubled my Chopin repertoire... from one to two. Sure his my favorite composer but my favorite pieces by him are just so hard. I also recently took a Kabalevsky piece tripled the tempo and learnt it for my left hand. Also today Rick did something very funny after taking Patt's email but I shall not say for if you read every news article this year (bout 7000 words), you will find that I have maintained my G (family safe) rating. Unlike Will who hopes that Huntingtower Staff never see his site.

11/10 - Back into the flashing fever

After opening up flash for the fist time in a wile I found that soon I was memorized in what was once my favorite past time. I am now working on a roadsnake movie that features works like Chopin's Etude in E and Holst's Jupiter. It is turning out to be my best yet, more news on this soon. Oh and Will... this one's for you moouse.

9/10 - Update

I've turned all the pics in artwork section and wallpapers page into thumbnails with links thank to a little front page tip from a certain Willyam I know. I was almost gona do it manually which would have been a daunting task.

Yay! there is now a Zx5 forum. I don't expect it to be popular but just a pace that people can post messages to me about the site or to request something excreta. I've also gotten a new guestbook because the old host turned into a pay service.

Also check out Will's Site, he updated it big time about 10 new pages new images and even a couple of new sections. My favorite is the roadsnake section, hilarious read and due to become a huge section.

9/10 - School is back in session

First two days of school have taken a large toll to my sanity, yesterday I was so exhausted I went to sleep as soon as I got home at about 4:30pm and slept till 5:00am this morning. In other news I got new glasses that I have to wear while studying at school, I'm no appearance freak and I actually like how they look however... there is one problem, I've been taking Will and Setha's glasses as a joke all year and now they have a chance for vengeance. lol that's karma for you.

I've finally added the link to Will's site to the the links section and while I was added I also added a link to Jack's site which even though is still in the early stages of development is still quite cool. And I know that the wallpapers page still take's 10 minutes to load, I'm planning make some thumbnails tonight if homework doesn't take me down first.

26/9 - Fun day at genesis

Went to Genesis internet cafe today, we played many different games including ricochet but dod was by far the best as usual. Will was there he seems to be addicted to expensive bubble tea beverage. Bah I hope there is another LAN this holidays need go bad.

I've added a new sig and avatar to artwork section I made it for the newly launched Endoras forums which I have posted a link to on the links page. It's a small community of mostly HT students.

25/9 - Stupit Will

Will had a LAN yesterday, he told me that the time wasn't confirmed and neglected to tell me when he did. his so lazy when it come to doing anything properly. Oh well I was staying over at my cousins most of the time anyway, we went and saw Finding Nemo the Animation was Sweet. Oh well me Sam, Doyle and a few others who missed the LAN are going to drop by at his house sometime un expectedly and complain lol.

18/9 - Much News

Tomorrow we are going to an art gallery at Federation Square Melbourne, I'm going to do impressions of art admirers that think blobs of paint are worth millions of dollars I really don't get abstract art, and Matt say's that it's the biggest scam since religion or something like that, what's he thinking? The Biggest scam ever is pop music, freaks like Britney Spears are showered in money when they know nothing about music and suck at singing, almost every singer I know is better than these pop musicians, the only reason they are rich is because the can look good for the camera and appeal to empty minded teenagers, or if they sing things their young audience can relate to i.e. sex, drugs, hating everyone, wanting to kill everyone pfft. Where was I? oops trailed off bagging on about things again. Ah well it is also the last day of school tomorrow which is a relief because I am absolutely exhausted.

I stuffed up my little performance of "The Successor" but it's okay twas just practice not an assessed task oh well I got most of the mistakes figured out now so that's cool.

I've added a link on the links page to Ricks new site http://www.rickstersrealitychect.cjb.net in the links section bit of a long url but that doesn't really matter. Also I'll get a link to will site up soon too.

Also I got the results for a Math compotation everyone sat a while ago. I got the third highest score and one of four distinctions  in year 10 which is cool. But to answer Wills question, no it doesn't make up for the participation in science 1 distinction is not suffice for 2 distinctions effort.

I've also decided to upload a site I designed for IT, it was my first attempt at slicing in Photoshop and I think I did quite well. see it here.

11/9 - Reformatted again =(

I got the ntldr missing error again and reformatted after trying in vein to save my files. Don't know what caused it this time, I've just finished installing all my drivers and programs but I'm using windows 2000 because will Won't return my Windows XP CD after I traded it for a pen jut before a math test as a joke, that bastard :P! I also need Photoshop from Sam and Office XP from my friend Tim. Mah! Too depressed don't wana talk about it. I mean I'm updating this site in Notepad

6/9 - String Quartet

Yay! new song... maybe best ever yet... working on it all week... anthem to myself... read about it in music section (the link is on the left bar for those of you who are ignorant, unobservant or otherwise lazy :P j/k).

1/9 - Science Competition

Will told me to post this... he thought it was hilarious. A while back I sat a test called the statewide science competition or something like that and I thought I did quite well, In all the previous competitions I had gotten no less than distinction. When they announced the results today Ryan Doyle was the only one in my year level to get a distinction and I didn't even get a credit. Now if that that wasn't strange enough Aman who didn't even sit the test (according to Matt), did get a credit. Will asked if I may have accidentally wrote his name I told him I'd be lying if I said I could even spell it :P. Meh no big deal, I'll probably never find out what happened but here are a couple of possible scenarios, they lost my test, which I will can confirm when the participation certificates are handed back, or I left out a question and forgot and filled in the answer to the next question in that a,b,c,d, slot (it was multiple choice) causing every answer after that to be incorrect (it's happened before) in which case I want my participation certificate.. or I might have just answered  them incorrectly, oh wait I'm listing possible occurrences. It's not that I actually needed a good mark for something it's just the Patt and Jack were bagging me about it all day, Patt has been looking for a way to re win back his respect ever since the science exam bet. I told him after he was boasting about how well he went after the exam that if he beat me in the exam I would give him $10 and if I beat him he would owe me nothing, He told me my arrogance would cost me and I ended winning 98% to 93%. lol funny Patt.

Also check the music section for Tom Barton's Rock Composition it's cool, Tom is also looking for other works to submit. He composes in his free time and is quite accomplished in the art.

30/8 - Random

Da da Daa, Da da dada Dadaa! I replace the allied victory music in day of defeat with the theme from Bizet's Farandole, now I work even harder to win so I can hear it :P. Also I've added my expressionist composition to the music page... weird stuff that. I also added a hits counter see right there under the links I've been needing to add it ever since I started zx5 so I started it off at 1200 although I have no idea how many hits this site has had, maybe more maybe less. And to sum up this post I have three weeks to learn and perfect a piece by Nobuo called "The Successor" for a class performance at the end of the term in which all year 10 music students have to play, I don't know exactly what grade it would be considered but it's got everything from cross rhythms to 32nd notes, 7 sharp time signatures and crazy fast chords so It might be the most difficult song being preformed unless Matt comes up with something harder. Click here to listen to "The Successor" ok so my description was a bit sensationalized... shuddup. I've also started to learn Nobou's "The Castle". Like his work? Go to the links page I've got a link to a site where you can download Nobou sheet music, useful for when a performance/exam/audition requires a work by someone alive.

28/8 - Homework

Mehehehehe... I've done a bit more on my song "A Place For Myself", 28 more bars (Half of them a repeat of A), and Dynamics and Phrasing plus improved Tempo. I'm writing this a bit after midnight so yesterday was an interesting day, in sport we learnt how to disarm a knife wielding maniac, a skill I will be no doubt needing in the future judging by the people I'm around...

**Flash back**

Sam (bored and looking for entertainment) : Hey Andy, you know what would be funny?

Andy : What?

Sam : If you push will into the lockers.

Andy (laughing) : That would be funny. (pushes William into lockers and laughs amusingly until he sees the angered look on Will's face)

Will chase Andy until he is eventually trapped between will and a table, Will kicks his legs until he fall to the ground, Michael comes in and starts kicking his ribs. Then Justin, Daniel, Tom etc. Decide to stack up on him causing him to stop breathing temporarily and struggle to breath for the next ten minutes.

Ok I'll make them pay I'LL MAKE THEM ALL PAY, (underlines mental note to seek psychiatric help). Heh! Yesterday Will, Michael and me were in the library told Will's girl friend (He'll kill me for calling her that, but it's true it's so undeniably true) that I was gay for our own amusement. She wouldn't believe us and tried to prove them wrong by coming on to me (Fool! Does she not know that a heart that has met with so much darkness can love no one of either gender). Anyway I ignored her and left the library with my arms around Will and Michael, Hahahahaha Suffice entertainment for a single uncomfortable moment.

25/8 - Homework

I've finally finished all of the home work I listed on the 18th, How does it feel to be up to date? Well there's a temporary feeling of relief but then that is blanked out by the fact that you know more work is coming. Oh well If things get too hard I can always leave all my material possessions behind and become a traveling acrobat and if that doesn't work out I can start out fresh in a life under the sea. Memo to Self : stop ripping off Simpsons as  may cause one to get sued. But It'll always be my dream to get a job shooting monkeys at the air port while golden zeppelins water my banana plantation in Hawaii. Bah! I missed a math test last Wednesday because of my Music Exam and I was unexpectedly given the test to do today. At first I thought I would fail as I had no idea the test was on today but seeing some sums jogged memories of how to do them and I ended up getting 83% which is alright I guess. On another note I'm beginning to suspect Will of being Fascist because of all the "green" vegetables he eats. Greens are vegetables too! If you prick them do they not bleed? (well maybe not bleed), If you tickle them do they not laugh? (Hmmm, no), If you poison them do they not die? (Yes they do! Booya! Score one for Shylock "The Merchant of Venice"), and if you wrong us, shall we not revenge? (YES! the vengeance of the green vegetables). Memo to Self : Seek psychiatric help soon *Twitch*. Music page now has work by Matt and one by Michael and a Links page has been upped.

24/8 - Love Music

My love for music has recently been mysteriously revived, I played at least 6 hours piano this weekend, I even briefly considered learning Chopin's "Heroic Polonaise" (one of my favorite pieces) but then I came to my senses and realized how incredibly INCREDIBLY difficult it is. However I'm hoping to practice a lot then start it next year and hopefully have it down by VCE. That'll learn the other music students, especially matt, I hope you're reading this, think you're a better pianist than me hey? I'll show him I'll show them all.............. ok I'll shut up now :P. Hmm news page getting a bit long I've have to start archiving past articles soon.

23/8 - Yay! Music Page up

I finally go the music page up so go there to listen to some of my works (Link on left of page).

19/8 - Geez I'm proud of myself

How's this, possible 100% probably 95%-100% in music exam. Science project 5000+ words, 25 pages, 3 Photoshop diagrams, 1 1337 front page, 20 internet pictures in one day and I managed to sneak in 2 hours of piano. I still have many task to do but shouldn't be too hard I'm past the hardest stuff.

18/8 - Sorry for long absence of updates

Here is a list of a few of the thing I have to do this week.

Now I don't know what some of you working adults or university students call that, but for me that's a pretty big work load. While sympathizing for me check out my new Gandalf wallpaper on the wallpapers page I wanted to put up for a while, I made this one at Jack's LAN for a composition which I won.  Also I'm going to add a page of my musical compositions presented in sibelius scorch which lets you view music and play it at the same time. If you don't already have the plug in get it, it's pretty cool and will take less then a minute to download, also the songs it play are midi size. You can try it out at www.music-scores.com an amazing site where you can download free sheet music.

12/7 - Update

Ouch, found eight new bruises today, and gathering in a circle with my friends to punch and kick each other has quickly become a favorite pastime of ours. School photos on Wednesday so don't forget to coat yourself in virgin blood so that your soul doesn't get stolen.
Anyway I added a few things to the site, Check in artwork section for a couple of symbols I've designed and a Setha Wallpaper has been added to the Wallpaper page, Sorry about all the wallpapers being on the same page I know it annoying, I'll fix that soon. Also, my passion for music composition (besides in school work)  has been revived by a few pieces I've just listened to and I've started a new piece so expect that soon. (To Wallpaper Page)
Now I'm off to watch Will's animation for the calculator, hehehehe look at him go *points and giggles at calculator*, you never know what's his going to do next.

12/7 - Corners are Boring

Sitting in the corner has proven boring, think I'll chase apes with a stick.

12/7 - Holidays Nearly Over

It seems like the holidays have just started and they're already almost over. I need a longer break, I've already started waiting for the next holidays... bah what's the use? before I know it they'll be over too, and all be waiting for holidays until I get into university when I will have even less free time to myself and then when I get a job I won't have a decent period of free time until I retire at which point I'll be too old to do anything good. Argh adolescent depression! stupid hormones... EAT DAGGER... Owww... Memo to self : In future restrain from trying to extract Pituitary Gland with a rusted dagger as it has proven painful. Meh, think I'll go and sit in a corner now, that solves everything

4/7 - Dumb Microsoft

Haven't updated in a while but I have my excuses, right after I finished my exams I had some free time on my hands and I found my old Pentium II in the garage, I decided to salvage it for parts, I took out it's hard drive and cd rom drive and plugged them into my present comp. When I turned on my comp I got a "Primary Hard Drive Error" so I unplugged the drive and rebooted, then I got a "NTLDR Missing" error so I went to microsoft.com for technical support. (What was I thinking?) They did know of this error and they had a solution which involved using a windows 98 startup disk, I followed the steps completely but it only made things worse... instead of giving me the NTLDR missing it just said C:\ as if I had no operating system installed, I tried the "dir" command but it said my hard drive was corrupted. Stupid Microsoft, so I had to reformat. In other news I updated my graphics card from petty TNT2 to decent Radeon 9200 and I got to test out the new Hardware at my friend Matt's LAN Party (you know, when everyone brings their computers and connects them all to each other then compete for superiority in games). We played from 5:00pm Saturday to 12:30pm Saturday that's almost 20 hours straight (well some people got some sleep... weak fools).

22/6 - Exam Results Back

I got all my exams back my average score was about 88% with English my only mark under 80% and the marks pulling my average under 90% (stupid English mark 71%, why can't I drop it? who needs English? I'm never going to go to England). My highest marks were Music 97% (Wohoo two 3rds of the music class got above 97%... but then again, me and Matt are 2 3rds of the Music class) and Science 98%, Math (86%) isn't up there this year but that's because I did the VCE coarse which is harder than the normal year 10 math.

8/6 - New Layout

I created a new layout for the site today, I think it's a lot better than the last one. Bah, I'm in the middle of exams and I still find the time to work on my site. Oh and yesterday I made a program for my calculator that does every trig equation we've used all year (right angle trig, sine rule, cosine rule, area of a triangle...) If anyone want it for the math exam on Wednesday e-mail me.

25/5 - Camp

Camp was horrible... So much physical labor (10k walks with 10 Kilo bags... no exaggeration), horrible food, sub zero temperatures (literally, a couple of nights we woke up with ice on our tents, a couple of nights we didn't have tents... I'm sick), 3rd world living conditions (Our toilet was a hole we dug in the ground with a spade). I'm happy to be back at school, sweet brain, mental work so much easier. I'd bet they put the camp right before the exams to demoralize everyone, make them happy to be studying in the waaarrrrrrm indoors.

18/5 - Camp

I'm off the the Grampian Mountains tomorrow on a school camp for a week. It's going to be awesome, Me a the three other people in my group are going to be left in the bush for a night where we prepare our on food and make our own tents etc. It'll be a much needed break from school (Wahoo physical labor to replace mental labor for a Week).

16/5 - Yet Another Wallpaper

I haven't updated in a while because exams are coming up at school, I just wanted to add another wallpaper I just made, this one took about 15 minutes for me to pull together. It another Mewtwo. (To Wallpaper Page)

20/4 - Old Memories

I found my old Pokemon card collection today, I stopped playing a while back when a lot of my powerful cards disappeared (probably stolen), Anyway I built a new deck and played it against my friends. I quite like it, it might not be as powerful as my old "Purple Aura Deck" but it's worth playing at minor tournaments.

23/3 - Dragon Wallpaper

I have just add my dragon wallpaper. I made it for a competition I am having against Will who I am always competing for superiority in design. The wallpaper contains a hand drawn dragon enhanced in PhotoShop with a Chinese painting in the background which I applied some effects to. This is possibly my best ever and I am looking forward to see what Will can do to counter it. I have also added the original drawing to the Artwork Section. (To Wallpaper Page)

9/3 - New drawing and Wallpaper

I haven't updated the site for a while, I just don't have as much time on my hands with school back and all. Ah well I've taken the long weekend to add some of the things that I've done over the last month to this site.
I've added one hand drawn picture to the artwork section, it is a picture of a completely unique character I came up with drawn freehand with no reference pictures whatsoever so don't expect him to look perfect.
I've also added one wallpaper I made of Mewtwo (To Wallpaper Page), I drew the picture of Mewtwo in the wallpaper instead of getting a picture off the web like I usually do (Which explains the dodginess :P).
As for the Setha Flash animation I probably won't have time to work on it until the Easter holidays, sorry.
Oh! and one more thing, Xaio Xaio 3 after being my favorite flash movie of the month for 3 moths running has finally been replaced with Genryu's blade. An awesome movie but a bit violent if you're the sensitive type.

8/2 - Wallpapers

I've decided to give my wallpapers their own page, I've also added 2 new Squall Leonhart Wallpapers. (To Wallpaper Page)
I've gone Squall crazy and I've even created a squall sig check it out in the artwork section.

3/2 - No more Programs

I've decided to remove the programs sections since I don't have much to show in that area anyway. I also added my new Dranzer sig to the artwork and flash sections

24/1 - Got a few sections up

I got the "Flash Movies" and "Contact Zx5" sections up, and I'm going to call it a night. I'm still working on the "Useful Programs" section and after that the site will be done (although I will continue to update).
I also replaced the pictures in the artwork section that I took with my digital camera with actuarial scanned pics so enjoy!
     Also check out (Setha Animation
) in the flash section.

20/1 - Welcome to the new Zx5

Hello whoever this may be,   I've updated the site layout to greet the new year and this time I actually tried. I made the title image in PhotoShop, the text was done using the bevel effect, the background was one of my wallpapers (grunged up), and in between,  four characters which to me depict the very pinnacle of coolness (from left to right "Beyblade, Kai", "Pokemon, Mewtwo", "Dragon Ball Z, Goku", "Lord of the Rings, Legolas").
Well happy new year to everyone even though I am 20 days late, hope you’ve had an enjoyable and productive school holidays (ahh they come and go so fast) and good luck with year 10 and don’t drink and drive (Setha I’m looking at you).
